Please join us at DC Bird Alliance continues the Black Birders Week celebration in the DMV with a bird walk in one of the local gems, Sligo Creek Parkway. Sligo Creek boasts a diversity of habitat where we're likely to see everything from waterfowl to our backyard song birds to late migrants and even a raptor (or two).
Stretches of the parkway are closed on the weekends for pedestrians and bikers, so we'll meet at the tennis courts between Wayne Avenue and Piney Branch Road, where there is parking, coordinates are, 39.00737, -77.01763.
