Join us for a bird walk at one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces in the DMV with over 400 acres and 9 miles of winding roadways, The U.S. National Arboretum. Don't worry, we won't tackle all 9 miles! But we'll have a great time looking for our feathered friends among the gorgeous gardens & collections.

CANCELLATION: The walk will proceed in drizzle (best time to bird!), but will be cancelled if heavy rain or thunderstorm; cancellation will be emailed at least 2 hours before meeting time.
WHAT TO BRING / PARK INFO:

Comfortable footwear to walk or hike. We will be walking on paved sidewalks and trails.
Water and snacks
If you have binoculars, please bring them.
Restrooms are available in the Administration Building, the Asian Collection and near the former Grove of State Trees by the corner of Eagle Nest and Azalea Roads. Accessible bathrooms are available in the Administration Building.
